WHERE IS PROVIDENCIA?
Providencia is a small island in the western Caribbean, located off the coast of Nicaragua and reached through neighboring San Andrés. Part of Colombia’s San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina archipelago, the island is home to a distinct Raizal culture and surrounded by one of the Caribbean’s largest barrier reef systems.
For seven days, we’ll slow down, explore, move, connect, and experience this extraordinary corner of Colombia together.

No two days on Providencia need to look exactly alike. Our week will move with the island—balancing adventure, movement, culture, and plenty of time to slow down, swim, and enjoy the island’s beaches at our own pace. While the exact schedule may shift with weather, these are some of the experiences we’ll share.
AROUND THE ISLAND, BY SEA
Circle Providencia by private boat with a local guide, taking in the island from every side and stopping to snorkel at Crab Cay and along the open-ocean barrier reef. Turquoise water, coral reefs, and some of Providencia’s most spectacular scenery make this one of the defining adventures of the week.
HIKE THE PEAK
Hike into Providencia’s mountainous interior and climb to the island’s highest point, where sweeping views stretch across the Caribbean. It’s a more adventurous side of Providencia—and a chance to experience just how wild and lush this little island really is.
CROSS OVER TO SANTA CATALINA
Cross the colorful Lovers Bridge to neighboring Santa Catalina, where history, island life, and the Caribbean come together. We’ll explore on foot, take in the views from Fort Warwick, and spend time discovering a quieter side the islands.
FIND YOUR FAVORITE BEACH
Providencia is home to some of the Caribbean’s most beautiful—and wonderfully uncrowded—beaches. We’ll spend time discovering different stretches of the island’s coastline, with space to swim, relax, wander, or settle into the sand with nowhere else to be.
Move, Breathe, Reconnect
Yoga, meditation, and breathwork will be woven throughout the week—sometimes to begin the day, sometimes to wind down after an adventure. Practices will be approachable and designed to complement our time on the island, whether you practice regularly or are completely new to it.
This isn’t a retreat where every hour is scheduled. There will be space to rest, explore, connect with the group, or simply enjoy where you are.

Our home for the week is a locally owned hillside retreat overlooking the Caribbean—an intimate setting where mornings begin with ocean views and fresh breakfast prepared for us at the property.
A Local Welcome
321 Surprise Glamping is locally owned by Winston and Shanith, whose connection to Providencia is woven into the experience of staying here. Winston, a native of the island, has helped us get to know Providencia through the people who know it best—from breakfast prepared at the property to local connections and adventures around the island.
It’s this kind of personal connection that we want Casa Bella guests to experience—not simply visiting Providencia, but getting to know a little of the community that makes the island so special.

Our home for the week offers a mix of intimate island accommodations, from rooms in the colorful main house to a separate king suite and a standalone dome overlooking the Caribbean. Each space keeps you close to the views, breezes, and natural beauty that make Providencia so unforgettable.

Food is part of experiencing Providencia. Throughout the week, we’ll share locally prepared breakfasts and visit some of the island restaurants Winston first introduced us to—places we’ve come to love for their Caribbean flavors, warm hospitality, and the people behind them.
And yes, there will be coconut pie.
Meet Your Hosts
We’re Juan Pablo and Dylan, founders of Casa Bella Collective. We created Casa Bella around a simple idea: travel can be about more than seeing a beautiful place. It can be a way to connect more deeply with its people, culture, and with one another.
Juan Pablo was born and raised in Colombia and brings a deeply personal connection the country he calls home. A former Colombian national-team swimmer and now yoga teacher, he brings a love of movement, adventure, and connection to the experience. Dylan’s background in occupational therapy and yoga brings an intentional approach to wellbeing, creating space to slow down, reconnect, and be present.
Providencia holds a special place in our story. We spent our honeymoon here, staying at 321 Surprise clamping and getting to know the island through the people and places we encountered. We fell in love with not only its beauty, but the warmth and character of the island itself.
After hosting our first Casa Bella retreat in Colombia’s Coffee Region, returning to Providencia to share this place with a small group feels especially meaningful. We can’t wait to experience it with you.

The Journey to Providencia
Getting to Providencia is part of the adventure. Guests will travel to San Andrés (ADZ), Colombia, before continuing on a short regional flight to Providencia (PVA).
We’ll provide detailed travel guidance and recommended flight timing to make planning your journey as easy as possible. Once you arrive in Providencia, your airport transfers and transportation throughout the retreat are taken care of.

Guests will first travel to San Andrés (ADZ), Colombia, before continuing on a short regional flight to Providencia (PVA). We’ll provide detailed travel guidance and recommended flight timing before the retreat to help make planning your journey as easy as possible.

Airfare is not included. Guests are responsible for arranging their travel to and from Providencia. Once you arrive on the island, airport transfers and transportation for our planned retreat experiences are included.

Absolutely. Solo travelers are very welcome. If you choose a double-occupancy Main House room, we can match you with another retreat guest as a roommate. If you prefer your own space, the King Suite and Dome are also available for private single occupancy.

Not at all. Our yoga, meditation, and breathwork practices are designed to be accessible to a range of experience levels. Participation is always optional and you’re welcome to move at your own pace throughout the week.

Yes. Yoga mats and the props needed for our practices will be provided, so you won’t need to travel with your own

We’ll do our best to accommodate common dietary needs and preferences with advance notice. Because Providencia is a small and remote island, some highly specialized dietary request may be more limited. Please let us know about any dietary needs when booking.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance for your trip, including coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, medical expenses, and travel delays. Travel insurance is not included in the retreat price.

A $500 nonrefundable deposit reserves your spot. The remaining balance is due January 13, 2027. Reservations made after January 13 require payment in full.

A $500 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. If you cancel before January 13, 2027, any payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded. After January 13, payments are nonrefundable, though we’ll always do our best to work with you if unexpected circumstances arise. For this reason, we recommend travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage.
